A Time to Pause
A Day of Renewal for Caregivers
who work or volunteer in a social justice
or care-giving organization
within Monroe County
Friday, May 15, 2020
Retreat will be a Virtual one - from the comfort of your own space through Zoom
Practices of Self-Compassion &
Self-Care for Caregivers
**this is not a training, networking event, or professional development day...
this is a day for you to let down
and give yourself some gentle care**
Pause, notice, and connect with yourself in a loving, compassionate way, as you grant yourself
the gift of time and space... to focus on you. To care for you. To fill yourself up.
In the pause, we find the strength, clarity, energy, and discernment
that comes from slowing down, quieting down, and going within.
Discover the power of the pause as you take time to connect with where you are in this moment,
what matters most to you, and where you’d like to commit our precious time and energy.
This retreat is for you if you:
Whether you support other human beings, animals, plants, or the planet,
you know how easy it can be to over-give your time, energy, and resources.
This day is all about filling YOUR tank - supporting you
so that you can give from a healthy, filled up place.
Our day will include meditation, journaling, and a mix of group and solo time.
Please have a journal or notebook and pen handy and dress for comfort.
