A new day begins at Light on the Hill!
Please bring a journal and pen, dress comfortably in layers,
and bring whatever else will make you comfortable during our weekend. 

The schedule will allow for several hours of time
each afternoon when you are free
to deepen your connection
with yourself in your own way
(a number of suggested possibilities will be offered). 


During this unstructured time, you may choose to walk the labyrinth, play with creativity,
meditate, journal, explore the beautiful 200+ acres, or enjoy a nap. 

Or you may want to bring along some supplies for your own
creating, drawing, writing, reading, meditating…
anything that will support you in slowing down and going within. 

Weather permitting, we will have a campfire on at least one of our evenings.
Move Into Presence: Embodying, Expressing, and Honoring Your True Self

Yoga with Carol Moon - We’re honored to have the delightful, intuitive, and skillful Carol guiding gentle yoga practices throughout the retreat. These sessions are offered as a way to integrate, release, relax, and embody whatever is arising for you in the moment.

All practices are optional and can be adapted to suit your needs—whether seated, standing, or a blend of both. Carol will meet you where you are and help you discover what feels best for your body and spirit.

At the heart of Carol’s teaching is the belief that yoga is the art of listening—to breath, to body, and to the present moment. It’s about meeting yourself just as you are, with compassion and awareness.


Yoga offers profound gifts: presence, patience, strength, balance, and equanimity. These qualities are cultivated on the mat and carried into daily life, supporting you far beyond the retreat.
With her signature warmth, humor, and deep respect for each individual’s journey, Carol creates a space where you’re encouraged to trust your body’s wisdom and move in a way that truly nourishes you.

Join Barb Klein—retreat facilitator, guide, and Possibilitator—for a deeply nurturing experience designed to support your whole being: body, mind, heart, and spirit. This retreat is an invitation to slow down, tune in, and come home to yourself.

Throughout our time together, you’ll be gently guided into curiosity, wonder, and self-exploration. You’ll have the opportunity to step outside your usual routines and embrace a new rhythm—one that opens space for fresh insights and awakening to new possibilities.

Each morning begins with an optional free dance session, a playful and joyful way to greet the day. Barb curates mindful, uplifting playlists that align with the spirit of our retreat, creating a welcoming space to move, feel, and connect.

Drawing from her personal journey and experience as a certified Grief Movement Guide, Barb understands how pain and emotion are held in the body—and how essential it is to express and release them. She will offer Grief Movement sessions, using breath, sound, and movement to help you release struggle and reconnect with love, empowerment, and clarity. These sessions are accessible and adaptable for all bodies and can be done seated or standing.

Come as you are. Leave more connected to who you truly are.

Alison Christiansen, from Radiant Compassion
, will be offering a group Reiki guided meditation experience along with a limited number of individual Reiki sessions to support our healing and opening journey.  Alison’s unique Reiki Experience is a nourishing, grounding offering combining meditation, music, and Reiki.Alison Christiansen

Tina Pierce, from Bella Soul Wellness, will be inviting us into a Sound Bath on Friday evening.  Tina brings a warm presence, the gift of healing sound, and will take  us more deeply into our true selves. As Tina's site says, "Sound, as a universal language, can reach parts of the self that words alone cannot, offering a profound path toward healing and transformation."

INVESTMENT
 All-inclusive: $675  (includes non-refundable $400 registration fee) includes private bedroom, delicious vegetarian, largely organic meals prepared with love from Thurs. dinner - Sun. lunch, and all retreat activities and materials.

Registration is limited to 22 people, which gives us a chance for deep connection!


Invitations will include: yoga, morning dance, meditation, creative exploration, time in nature, grief movement, fireside shenanigans,  journaling or doodling...  you will be met where you are and encouraged to listen to your inner wisdom and guidance as to what is right for you!  

✨If you would like to request scholarship support or a payment plan, or you would like to donate to a scholarship fund to make the retreat available for people who couldn't otherwise participate, please email me and let's see what we can do!

Cancellation Policy

Partial refund for cancellations prior to May 23, 2025  (you will receive back total paid minus $400)
No refund after May 23, 2025 although you are welcome to gift or sell your spot to someone else.
