"I have been part of the annual “Let your Light Shine” women’s retreat for
the past 5 years. The 5-day retreat format allowed me to go so much
deeper than I’m able to during a day-long or weekend retreat--
there is so much space, and a beautiful balance of group connection
and private integration time.
The different modalities offered on retreat also encouraged
me to think differently—while I have a dedicated journal and meditation
practice, the inclusion of drumming and painting nudged me outside of my
usual comfort zone “box” very effectively!
Barb & Sandy create an extremely positive, nurturing space
where I felt free to express myself honestly and be
supported. It is powerful and incredibly nurturing to dedicate this time to
introspection and personal exploration, so much so that I can feel retreat’s
effects for many months afterward. Retreat has created a meaningful,
lasting change in the way I move through life."

In these unsettled times, you may be longing for connection, community, and space to allow your nervous system to settle down. You may also be looking for an outlet to release, create, and express.
Retreat offers this sanctuary, this space, and this sacred time.
"...as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others."
~ Marianne Williamson
Come... free yourself to let your light shine brightly!
As we have the opportunity to slow down enough to connect with what we want and need,
we are better able to show up to our lives and to the people, activities, and causes we care about.
In the slowing down and going within, we rejuvenate, we soften,
and we learn to love ourselves fully and completely, just as we are.
In the expression, movement and release, we let go of what no longer serves us
and we break free to be more fully alive.
Imagine the deep inner peace and joy that radiates from being in a state of self-acceptance, self-compassion, and self-love!
If you’ve been craving a nice long retreat to have more time and space, this one’s for you!
This year’s retreat is lit up and full of goodness!
Now is the time to reserve your spot in September’s retreat... come, walk the labyrinth, dance, drum, create, laugh, cry, explore, inquire, discover the unfolding that awaits at Light on the Hill.
Barb and Sandra partner to weave a tapestry of meditation, expressive art, reflective reading and writing,
drumming, dance, and sound healing to support your journey.
Carol will offer gentle yoga several times throughout the retreat as a way to integrate and embody what’s arising.
Five days allow us the gift of time and space to go deeper, to awaken more fully,
to tap into our radiant lights and leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and alive!
Each retreat is unique and special in its own way, and Light on the Hill offers us its own special magic.
September is the perfect time to begin anew… to slow down, huddle up, and go within while also tuning into
creative expression and rhythm... within the circle of a loving community.
There will be a blend of group time, solo time and plenty of time and space for you to get what you need and want out of this experience.
**As we did last year, we are hosting a fully-vaccinated group.
As Covid protocol and awareness continues to dictate events in 2022, we find
this allows us to provide a deeply immersive, & nourishing experience for all participants.**
A time to reflect. A time to savor the natural beauty of the land.
A time to pause within the midst of life. A time to spark your inner light.
A time to go within and connect with yourself.
A time to connect with one another in sacred circle.
